Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of Spoofzone.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Spoofzone inference-routing platform, websites, applications, and APIs (the "Gateway"). By creating a key or making a request, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Spoofzone.

1. Definitions

  • "Gateway" means the Spoofzone inference-routing platform, websites, applications, and APIs operated by Spoofzone ("Spoofzone", "we", "us", or "our"), through which users submit requests that are routed to third-party artificial-intelligence models.
  • "Model Provider" means any third party whose language, image, or other AI model is made accessible through the Gateway.
  • "User Content" means any content you submit to or generate through the Gateway, including prompts, inputs, and Outputs.
  • "Output" means any content, including text and images, returned in response to your inputs.

2. The Gateway; role of Spoofzone

Spoofzone provides a routing and access layer. Requests you submit are transmitted to, and Outputs are generated by, the applicable Model Provider. Outputs are generated by third-party Model Providers, not by Spoofzone. We do not author, control, or endorse any Output.

Availability, behavior, and results of any model are determined by the applicable Model Provider and may change or be discontinued at any time. Your use of a given model may also be subject to that Model Provider's own terms and use policies, and you agree to comply with them.

3. Your wallet and payment

The Gateway uses a self-custodied wallet that only you control. When you set up your wallet, you grant a one-time authorization that lets per-call charges settle onchain from your balance automatically as you use the Gateway, so you do not have to sign each individual request. Every charge is capped by your balance and can never exceed the funds you hold. You only need to hold a stablecoin balance to cover your usage; Spoofzone provides the network gas for onchain settlement. Amounts settled onchain are final and non-refundable once a request is served.

4. API keys and security

Your API key (prefixed spf_) authenticates every request and can spend from your wallet. Keep it secret, do not share it or embed it in client-side code, and rotate it if it is exposed. You are responsible for all activity under your keys, and for the acts and omissions of any end users you permit to access the Gateway through your account or keys.

5. Your content and your responsibility

As between you and Spoofzone, you retain any rights you hold in your User Content, subject to the licenses granted in these Terms.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and for all decisions made, advice given, actions taken, or results obtained through your use of the Gateway or any Output. You are responsible for evaluating the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of any Output before relying on, publishing, or distributing it.

6. Nature of Outputs

Outputs are generated probabilistically by third-party models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or offensive. You will not rely on Outputs as a sole source of truth or as a substitute for professional advice.

Outputs are not represented to be unique, original, novel, or non-infringing, and the same or similar input may produce the same or similar Output.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Gateway, or any model made available through it, to:

  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation;
  • Create, upload, or distribute content that infringes or misappropriates any third party's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
  • Generate content depicting a real, identifiable person without appropriate rights or consent, or to create deceptive, defamatory, or fraudulent impersonations, deepfakes, or synthetic media intended to mislead;
  • Generate or distribute content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors;
  • Harass, threaten, defame, or harm any person, or promote violence or illegal activity;
  • Circumvent security measures or rate limits, scrape, or access the Gateway through unauthorized automated means, or resell or redistribute model access in violation of these Terms or a Model Provider's terms; or
  • Use the Gateway in any application where failure or inaccuracy could result in death, serious bodily injury, or severe physical or environmental harm.

We reserve the right, but assume no obligation, to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

8. No obligation to monitor

We do not control and have no obligation to monitor, edit, or review User Content, including prompts and Outputs. We may, but are not required to, remove or restrict any User Content or model access at our sole discretion. Your use of the Gateway creates no expectation that we will screen, filter, or moderate content.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Gateway reliable and available, and we continually improve it. The models, pricing, and features we offer may evolve over time, and occasional maintenance or interruptions may occur.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Gateway and all Outputs are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spoofzone disclaims all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, and any warranty that the Gateway or Outputs will be accurate, reliable, uninterrupted, or error-free. Spoofzone makes no warranty regarding any third-party Model Provider.

11. Assumption of risk

You expressly assume all risks arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Gateway and any Outputs, for any purpose. Use of the Gateway and any Outputs is at your sole discretion and risk.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spoofzone will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or reputation, arising out of or relating to the Gateway, any Model Provider, or any Output, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Spoofzone's total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Gateway will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US$100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Spoofzone and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) brought by any third party arising out of or relating to: (a) your User Content; (b) your use of the Gateway or any model accessed through it; (c) your violation of these Terms or of any Model Provider's terms; or (d) your violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Your representations and warranties

You represent and warrant that: (a) you own or have all rights necessary to submit your User Content and to grant the licenses in these Terms; (b) your User Content and your use of the Gateway do not and will not infringe or violate any third-party right or any law; and (c) you will comply with the acceptable-use provisions above and with the terms of any Model Provider whose model you access.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Spoofzone is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above, and your continued use of the Gateway means you accept the updated Terms.
